He holds a Doctor of Philosophy Degree in Social Studies from the University of Zimbabwe. Over the years, he acquired experience, knowledge and keen interest in sustainable development processes in sub-Saharan Africa. He has since published many scientific papers and book chapters based on research done on some of the key issues in African development. He spend extended periods of time for training and work-related assignments in Botswana, Ethiopia, Ghana, Kenya, Lesotho, South Africa, Tanzania, and the Netherlands. His works of fiction are mainly based on an understanding of the realities of the African socio-economic and political condition. Claudious is married and a father of three lovely boys.
