Also, I'm thrilled to say, I'm a self-published author of a children's book! Sister Dog is the first book I have ever published and it was released May 17, 2011. The book derived from a dream I had one night. Day after day the story kept creeping back into my mind. After sharing it with my daughters, they encouraged me to write it down and finish it. They were curious what the ending would be. I think the greatest compliment I will ever receive came from my 10 year old, "Mom, that was AWESOME! I love it, you should make it a book!"Well, I'm not one to just put myself out there for all to critique so I never planned on publishing anything.
