He serves as the dean and an instructor at Washington Baptist Theological Seminary’s School of Certification in Mt. Rainier, MD, and the First Vice President of the National Capital Baptist Convention of Washington, DC and Vicinity. He holds an Associate of Arts Degree from International Seminary of Plymouth, FL, a Bachelor of Theology Degree from Breakthrough Bible College in Capital Heights, MD and a Master of Arts in Pastoral Theology from Washington Baptist Theological Seminary and an Honorary Doctorate of Humane Letters (DHL) from Breakthrough Bible College. He also served 20 years in the United States Army with honor and distinction, including five years (1988-1993) at the White House on the National Security Council Staff. In 1980 he traveled to Israel, where he performed baptism in the Jordan River and participated in a Holy Communion service at the traditional burial site of Jesus Christ.
