His first book, "Once upon a Mulberry Field," is an award-winning novel set in Vietnam at the height of the war. It is followed by "Rain Falling on Tamarind Trees," a travelogue of his 2016 visit to the ancestral homeland and a former Amazon #1 New Release in Vietnam Travel Guides.
