His love of reading grew to include adventure, science fiction, mystery, and fantasy. While in the military, he spent hisfree time reading and nurturing his imagination. It was his English 101 instructor that told him he needed to write.
The seed was planted. Other responsibilities kept him busy and writing was a last priority, until he got a computer.
