She has worked in communications, publishing, and graphic arts in Chicago and New York. In 2011 she moved to Washburn, Wisc., and served on the board of the Chequamegon Bay Arts Council and edits their quarterly journal, Artifacts. In 2016 she was appointed by the Governor of Wisconsin as a board member of the Wisconsin Arts Board.
