Bishop John and Co-Pastor Penny Francis are the founders of the United Kingdom's premier Christian TV, "Flow TV," and launched their new station in March 2014, "Bringing Hope, Inspiring Change."
Operating in his gift as an apostle and speaking with a prophetic voice, Bishop Francis
is the founder and senior pastor of Ruach City Church-one church in several locations (Brixton in South London; Kilburn in North London; Walthamstow in East London, Birmingham, UK, and Philadelphia in the United States). Ruach City Church is one of the largest and fastest growing churches in the UK. Starting from humble beginnings, with only eighteen faithful members, the church has grown rapidly and continues to grow. Several services are held every Sunday at several locations.
Bishop John Francis' outreach ministries are many, including his role as international director of the Ruach Network of Churches, overseeing approximately 50 churches in the UK and overseas. In 2012, Ruach City Church launched Ruach Radio via Internet (www.ruachradio.com) and can also be heard London-wide on DAB Radio.
A recipient of the British Gospel Association's Award, Contribution to Gospel Music and Gospel TV Series of the Year (as co-presenter of the UK's pioneering Gospel TV program, People Get Ready!), Bishop Francis is a multitalented, multifaceted man of God. He has performed in the presence of Her Majesty, the Queen, the Prince and late Princess of Wales, as well as toured throughout Europe presenting musical workshops and television and radio shows with the renowned Inspirational Choir (UK).
Bishop Francis was awarded the Minister of the Year Oasis Award and Church of the Year Oasis Award; and the Bishop Francis Choir-The Ruach City Church Choir and Musicians recorded on the Donnie McClurkin "Live in London" Album, which has now reached platinum level sales-reaching multiple thousands of souls.
Bishop Francis is also the co-chair of Empowered 21 (E21) and a member of The Churches Together in England (CTE).
Bishop Francis' ministry is local, national, and international with more than 126 million viewers in the USA watching his broadcast ministry, Order My Steps. The Order My Steps Conference hosted its first international tour in Germany and Atlanta, USA, in 2004 and have held additional conferences in Jamaica and in the USA: Charlotte, North Carolina; Orlando, Florida; and Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
Bishop Francis is the author of several outstanding books including: Walking In Your Assignment, Is There a Word from the Lord?, What Do You Do When You're Left Alone?, 10 Steps to Get out of Debt, The Pastors & Church Workers Handbook, and has released four CDs entitled Finally, Bishop John Francis, One Lord, One Faith, Manifestation of the Promise, and the most current, Welcome in this Place.
Bishop Francis's wife, Penny, is the Co-Pastor of Ruach City Church and has worked alongside him throughout his ministry. They have three lovely daughters, Juanita, Teleisa, and Charisa.
