Since he was in the eighth grade, he knew that one day he would place at least one of his stories on the written page. Life seems to have a way of delaying one’s dreams, but Darral never gave up the idea that he would eventually write.
After his retirement from a thirty-year career in the construction business, he finally sat down and wrote his first story. He often says he has no regrets for his first career and insists that if it hadn’t been for meeting so many wonderful people through the years from diverse backgrounds, his story ideas wouldn’t be nearly as rich in his mind as they are.
