I love travelling and I love kids, specially my own. Our family trips are my inspiration as they are some of the best memories of my life. The time spent together gives us a wonderful family bond and the education my kids have from their trips is invaluable. Having travelled the world fairly extensively, I started to write in order to share with children how amazing our world is and how important it is to look after it and appreciate what we have. I have had so many people over the years tell me that they did not want to go to a certain place because of a fear of something.... ex. "I would never go to Australia because it is full of snakes and spiders". Yes, Australia does have snakes and spiders, but in the 5 years I lived in Australia I saw one snake and never encountered a poisonous spider. Driving in L.A. is kind of crazy, in my opinion, but do people not go to L.A. because it has cars? I want to encourage kids to not live in fear of the unknown. We miss out on so much in life if we live in fear.
