He has completed courses at the New York Film Academy and the Broadcasting Institute of Maryland. His interest in films is wide ranging, from German silent expressionist films like The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari, to modern British dramas. He has made several brief inhuman appearances in local low-budget films, such as a zombie in Trailer Park of the Living Dead from Stormbringer Productions and a vampire in Mortal from Trinka Five Films. Such supernatural creatures often pop up in his books.
