She is a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and a great lover of people. She holds a B.A. (English) from Norfolk State University, M.A. (Social Work) from Michigan State University, and Ph.D. (Human Services/Counseling) from Capella University. She is a member of Phi Alpha and Phi Kappa Honor Societies, and an honor graduate of Temperance Bible College. She serves as Assistant Pastor to her husband, Senior Pastor Hubert "Woody" Wortham at their church, Grace Transformational Ministries (GTM) in Flint, MI.
Dr. T. is a minister, psychotherapist, professor, author, and mentor whose passion is to help others discover their God-given identity. Her mission is best described through the words of Jesus in Luke 4:18-19, "The Spirit of the Lord is upon me because He hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; He hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised.
