It stated that she declared "An effective leader is not necessarily limited to an individual born with a certain set of characteristic, but that in fact leadership skills can be taught or learned.
Dr. Osborne is in receipt of an Official Citation from the General Assembly of the State of Connecticut in recognition of her successful achievements including her Doctorate in Divinity. Additionally, she was awarded a Citation from Mayor Luke Bronin of Hartford Connecticut for her community work. She also has a Citation from then Councilwoman and now Congresswoman Yvette Clark for her humanitarian work in New York City.
