She has devoted over 25 years to working with children and families in settings as diverse as children's day treatment, children's intensive outpatient, foster and adoption agencies, children's shelters, youth probation, and early childhood mental health. She is the founder of a new therapy model for helping children with some of the most challenging and treatment-resistant behaviors and their families: Multi-Modal Attachment Therapy (M-MAT).
