She is grandmother to the amazing Max and his wonderful sister, Eva. Max and Eva are the stars in all Dee's books. Dee began writing when she was a student in college. She loved to write poetry. Two of her poems were included in a Missouri University publication Years later, she wrote a poem that was published in the Liguorian Magazine and others that were included in an anthology entitled Lyrical Voices. As a former Montessori preschool teache Dee now enjoys writing books that teach as well as entertain. Maxwell and the Dragon is her sixth book.
