With its publication she will have made the switch from entomologist/professor of environmental science/college administrator to being a full-time, published author.
Next up, her writing schedule will turn to fiction: an environmental cozy mystery series starring Rainey Collins as the scientist-sleuth. After that, she will decide whether to continue in the world of cozy mysteries or switch back to nonfiction … maybe a book on Water? Popular science? Or the adventures of university field trips? She is enjoying the flexibility of choosing her way.
She is from Buffalo, NY, still dreams of the Buffalo Bills winning the Super Bowl, and currently lives in Alaska in a town that gets less snow than Buffalo did. She shares the home with a dear husband, and the rescue dog that came with a rescue cat.
