Octavio was born in Managua, Nicaragua, during the country’s civil war. As a young boy he and his family left the war-torn nation and immigrated to Canada in 1987. He has lived in four countries, seven cities, and numerous houses. Currently he and his wife of eight years live in the greater Toronto area with their three young children.
