He holds a Master's degree in Religious Studies, Master of Advanced Studies degree in Theology and Religion; and Licentiate in Sacred Theology (STL) from the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven (KUL), Belgium. He obtained his doctoral degree (PhD) in theology from the same University. He researches on the essence of Christianity, and in emphasising the need for an authentic Christian witnessing, he argues that Christians should impact positively on the society and at the same time advance the progress of the Church.
