He has worked as a telegram delivery boy, fruit picker, factory worker, customs officer, and teacher in an Aboriginal settlement in the Northern Territory. He is now a librarian working in a theological library. He completed a BA with Honours in History at Adelaide University and has written a number of church histories. This is his first novel.
