He received his BA from Morgan State University, Baltimore MD in 1973, and MDiv from Howard University Divinity School in 1976. He is a retired Army Chaplain in 1996 (LTC) and retired social worker (2011). He authored his first book in October of 2010, entitled Genesis and Life. He is the General Secretary to the Board of Bishops of the United Church of Jesus Christ. He is married to Julia Eddington in June 1972. They have three children, Cleven, Jr., married to Senora Clinton, Desiree, and Jewel, and two grandchildren, Abriya and Cleven III.lihat lebih sedikit
