I think that is largely due to the way I grew up. I was always challenging myself to greater and greater heights! I always wanted to be the best in everything. It took a while; I definitely wasn’t granted any special abilities at birth. And so it became a dangerous and adventurous business—this life thing! From pole-vaulting in high school to flying a Harrier and later being in combat with the F-16. Can’t get much better than that! After these awesome adventures, I took up African safaris, climbs (especially climbing the Seven Summits), and scuba diving all over the world!
