Despite his busy schedule in medical practice, he has followed his passion in exploring the limits of the known and beyond into the realms of the unknown. This book is a product of the childlike curiosity about the mysteries of nature that he has relentlessly pursued.
He considers his period of childhood that he spent in his boarding school, Ramakrishna Mission Vidyapith at Deoghar, as the most fruitful phase of his life. This period shaped him into the individual that he is today and gave initial direction to his intellectual pursuits. He has lived and worked at several places, like New Delhi, Chennai, Mumbai, and Varanasi in India and briefly in Singapore and the USA.
