In 2005, he wrote and starred in a feature film entitled Silent Voice. The film helped revive the Zambian film industry and ushered Sakala into the world of film making.
To his credit he has written, produced and starred in numerous films and TV dramas such as Survivors, Brothers, The Dancers, When the Curtain Falls, Street Circles, Redemption, Rewind, Guns and Rings, Judas Affair, LSK Heroes, Land Wrangles, and Reflection of Sadness.
