In all my years, I have loved God and I am very thankful to him for giving me a preacher for a father and a mother who prayed all day.
This collection of poems is dedicated to my sisters and my brothers who have supported me all of my life and encouraged me to allow others to read my poetry. I also dedicate this collection to Leah Brown, my sister-in-law, who does not know the impact of her gift to me, a golden clip. When she handed me that golden clip, it said to me “keep your dream alive.”
