She started her first successful freelance business as a silk art sales distributor at the age of 17. She worked full-time to pay her tuition while earning her interior design degree. While working as an account executive director of a reputable interior design firm, she obtained her business administration degree. After obtaining a contract on a billion dollar project for the company, she was confident enough to start freelancing on her own. During Hurricane Andrew in Florida, her house was damaged and many possessions, including her interior design portfolio were destroyed. That forced her to work in different disciplines for many years because many interior design firms would not hire her without previous examples of her work. Her resilience and confidence prompted her to eventually open an interior design business. She also was inspired by a vision from the Holy Spirit to infiltrate an untapped part of the milk drink industry. While trying to seek investment capital from different banks and investors, her recipe and idea were stolen. After this major setback of her entrepreneurial zeal, she developed a sense of deep mistrust of people in the business arena. She became a middle school teacher and was amazed at what the young generation knows, doesnt know, and wants to know.
After her teaching experience, she went back to her childhood memories and remembered her first intrinsic zeal to be in the company of God and Jesus. Thus, she immersed herself in the word of God fully, with no care of what people (especially old business acquaintances) would think of her. This book is her journey to God.lihat lebih sedikit
