She was born in Miami, Florida in 1962. Raised in Overtown by her Mother, Betty Barrette and Grandmother, Edna Jones. Faye attended Phyllis Wheatley Elementary School and Booker T. Washington Jr. High School. In 1979, she received her High School Diploma from McKinney Job Corps in McKinney, Texas where she also received her certification as a Clerk Typist. She later went on to receive a BS degree in Education from Florida Memorial University.
Upon returning home in 1979, she met and later married Frankie B. Quinn in 1988. Frankie and Faye have four adult children and nine grandchildren most of whom reside in Florida.
Faye’s gift of writing was recognized at an early age when she started writing poetry as a way of releasing pent up emotions. Having dealt with many of life’s circumstances, she has written many poems over the years. Even though she felt peaceful after writing, it was always short lived. The circumstances still seemed to outweigh the peace she gained through writing.
As a result, Faye began to seek God for help. That seeking developed into a loving relationship with God and it was through that relationship that God began to give her revelation knowledge as to how to effectively apply His word to her every situation and circumstance. It was then laid upon her spirit to write her first book titled: THE WORD WORKS SO WHAT’S THE MATTER? It is her desire that, through these books, others may know that, not only does the word of God work, but how to apply it and how to incorporate it into their prayers!lihat lebih sedikit
