She holds a Bachelor’s degree in nursing and worked for twenty two years at The Oregon Burn Center. Working with severely burned patients gave her insight into the human emotions that accompany catastrophic illness and injury. Judith has written articles for nursing publications but had a strong desire to express herself in a novel. She spent over eight years writing The Perez Legacy: Redemption.
