Already an artist, he discovered a new avenue of expression while obtaining his degree—inspired by his English teacher, Tara Schumacher, words replaced the paints on his palette. He says that if a picture is worth a thousand words—a thousand well-placed words create an infinite variety of images.
Marty is a liturgical minister in the Catholic Church.
