He is a true social being and a successful entrepreneur, sitting at the head of one of the most popular pharmacy chains in the state of West Bengal (India), the Dhanwantary Group. He is a spirited motivator and an ardent spiritualist, attached to many social organisations like Rotary International and various United Nations Associations. He was born in a lower-middle class family, struggled to complete his studies with the help and support of a kindly neighbour and an NGO. A passionate social reformer, he has now launched and supports the Girl Child Education Programme, Sukanya, which is a project very close to his heart. Rajendra Khandelwal’s search for the true meaning of life has just started with this, his first attempt, Life is a Celebration.
