I have written three books of love poems, prose, and three short stories. I won first place and had my award-winning poem published in the Texas Love Poets Society yearly handbook. I have always been captivated by science fiction and the possibility of extraterrestrial life out there somewhere. So I thought I would try my hand at writing a science fiction story and combine it with adventure. My wife and my daughter first gave me the idea to write this story. I am somewhat of a dinosaur in today’s world. I have six adult children—of which two are adopted, four of my own, and a teenage daughter by my wife of forty-one years.
