The author had worked at the prestigious University of Lagos. He graduated with a Masters’s degree in Human Resource Management from the same University before moving to the United States.
Yahaya Balogun’s foray into Literature is not by happenstance or accident. As a university student, he had read voraciously the works of literary giants like Soyinka and Achebe and other prominent African authors he looked up to as role models. His poetry collection is his first baptism of fire in the real sense of it in the literary world, though he has many manuscripts yet to be published.
