He received a degree in history and economics from the University of Alberta. In a career that has encompassed media and business he has lived in New York, Los Angeles, Europe, Montreal and Toronto. He is the author of "Mission To Ramalon" published by Pathfinder Series. His lyrics for over 60 songs are combined with his numerous poems in a work entitled "What Colour Is God's Skin?". He was admitted to ASCAP in 1966 and is a member of SOCAN. He lives in Toronto with the noted fine art photographer Jane Hinton.
