The ability to stay focused on the present moment has helped deal with difficult and challenging situations, reduce stress and anxiety, and cope with trauma and pain bringing about a internal healing which she believes is imperative for social and emotional growth in all of us. Teaching her son this from a young age and also bringing it into the lives of other children and her parents has become a big part of her purpose as an author and motivational speaker.
