She spent her youth riding horses and reading books as there were no other children within the vicinity to play with and because of the remoteness lived in her imagination. As an adult she would often write short stories for her girlfriends making them the hero of the story in the hope that it would cheer them up and help mend a broken heart. Her first Novella “Jaded” had its early beginnings in this way and was developed from a short story into a Novella that is the first book in a series.
