Roy Lee “Simon” Jarmon is the second of 11 children, born in Mississippi to the late George and Minnie Bell Armstrong Jarmon. He served in the U. S. Army from February 1970 until February 1973. Army from February 1970 until February 1973. After graduating from Mississippi Valley State University in 1982, he worked at AT&T until his early retirement at the end of 2002 after being diagnosed with PTSD (Post-traumatic Stress Disorder). The writer was asked by his psychologist to write about his feelings as a therapeutic exercise. He, then, realized that writing was his calling from God. His writings started him on his road to recovery and to speak to others about their healing. Jarmon still lives in Piscataway, NJ.
