I studied Associate Diplomas in Chemistry and Biology at QIT. Later I studied Associate diploma in library technician studies at TAFE.

I worked as a scientific assistant for about 10 years and a library assistant for about another 10 years before retiring in about 2010
I have published 4 books- Flight of the Cochrane (science fiction)
