Together, they pastor a church in San Jose, California, that has a very culturally diverse congregation. They have three adult children and four grandchildren.
Starr is a writer not only of books but of songs, poetry, and other inspirational words as well. She is also a gospel singer and has written the lyrics and performed several of her own songs, which have been published and recorded on CDs.
This book is the second one that Starr has written. The first one is titled Sunday Morning Words of Inspiration under Rose Dog Books, a division of Dorrance Publishing. Starr has been called upon many times to speak to various women’s groups and at other church events on the subject of being a godly woman.
Starr will be the first to tell you that even though she has many years of experience being the wife of a pastor, she is still learning.
