He has had two plays produced. A Love So Blind was produced in Dungarvan, Ireland, and at the Irish Arts Center in New York in June 2000. The Sheare Street Social Club was produced at the June Havoc Theatre, 312 West Thirty-Sixth Street, New York, in January 2008.
He received a bachelor of arts degree from Empire State College and a master of arts degree in creative writing from Manhattanville College. He grew up in Abbeyside, County Waterford, and now resides in Mount Kisco, New York, with his wife Anne (née Tyrrell).
