She enjoys teaching communication techniques in the work place, as well as for state and local public service groups, including volunteer and chaplaincy programs. Wendy received training through Saddleback Church's lay-counseling program and has facilitated various recovery groups. She also serves in leadership for her local Community Bible Study, an international ministry. Opportunities such as these are a delight for Wendy because they allow her to draw from her own story of starting over to speak words of hope, comfort, and encouragement to those who are suffering.
