It was in my “bucket list” to do when I retire. Having immigrated to this beautiful country just before becoming a teenager, I had to learn English quickly. From then on, I have always been fascinated by learning new words and listening to people who speak and write English well. As a novice writer, you are surrounded by lots of words, so Thesaurus is my new friend.
My husband and I retired about seven years ago. We looked forward to our retirement years, so called our “golden years.” I haven’t figured out what part is considered “golden.” It is hard to believe we just celebrated our 40th wedding anniversary on a cruise to Alaska. Perhaps, another ten more years with my wonderful and terrific husband will be our golden anniversary. Ah, there is the golden years. Happy reading!lihat lebih sedikit
