Don received a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Oklahoma A & M in Stillwater in 1950. He and Barbara moved to Texas where he worked as an aeronautical engineer for eight years. Perceiving a call from God to pastoral ministry, Don enrolled at Perkins Theological Seminary, graduating with a Master of Divinity. He and Barbara served churches in Texas and Oklahoma during a 32-year span.
These newsletter columns represent Don’s best thinking and beliefs about his Christian faith. They were written to inspire, encourage, and challenge the parishioners at Trinity UMC.
