She is the eighth of ten children. She graduated from Southeastern High School, Detroit Public Schools, 1970. Mrs. Milton served twenty-one (21) years in the military, Health Care Administration and served on the Disaster Preparedness Team (11-US Air Force(enlisted)/10-US Navy(officer)) Team and retired Lieutenant, March 1995. She is the author of two(2) Poetry books, Perspectives, edited by son, Eric T. Holmes, and Pinnacle. This book, Disaster Master Plan, photos of Blanketpads take n by son, Allister L. Holmes. Mrs. Milton achieved four (4) college degrees, including two (2) Masters. Mrs. Milton is married to Donn J. Milton, Sr., a 23 year military veteran and Bronze Star Award recipient.
