My father and mother were from Charlotte, North Carolina. My father retired from the Air Force and made his home San Antonio. At the age of thirteen, I was able to elude various obstacles such as gang activity and adverse grades (these would have stopped me from competing in sports) to become an "A" and "B" student and track star and to graduate from high school. In 1974, I enlisted in the United States Army, in 1990 spending 9 months in Saudi Arabia during Desert Shield and Desert Storm. I retired in 1995.lihat lebih sedikit
