She also reads fast and writes very fast. And thinks really fast, sometimes more than two things at one time fast. Which is pretty darn fast. Because her body is slow. A unique form of handicap since a child, digging deep into the marrow of her bones. And so at times she appears like a hermit to others, while spending hours inside her head clicking away on her keyboard. They don’t know this is where her head goes out to play, since it’s really the only way she can. She talks slow. Because she can’t remember words, sometimes even if it’s right there on the tip of my tongue waiting to jump off. Damaged. And might even say silly things like the grass is getting long, better get out the vacuum, or bring me back the lawn mower from the closet. When the dog hairs start to collect. And to top that I actually fight this fibro monster in its treacherous fog. And what the heck is fibro-fog? And this is the way my mind works, she will start one conversation that I wanted to say, and it simply jumps off the branch like a little yellow bird, to fly to a new branch. And now I'm having this little yellow bird that's sitting on the branch, inside my mind, in my imaginary creative DNA, plus the gift of bi-polar. That says she's in the same psych ward with Edgar Allan Poe, Leo Tolstoy, Graham Greene, Sidney Sheldon and many other. Tell me how blessed is that? Awesome! Thank You Jesus for making me crazy and crippled, broken and holy smokes what a history you’ve given me. Do I hear an Amen?lihat lebih sedikit
