Jim is a past member of the Missouri Association of School Administrators, Missouri Association of Rural Education, and the Missouri State High School Activities Association where he also served as President.
Over the years Roe has been a guest speaker for different schools and has performed many comedy sketches for a number of school events and organizations. Roe is a story teller and has shared his humorous recollections with many people. Jim has often been asked the same question, “Why don’t you write a book”? Some of this material in this book represents the humorous stories that he has always loved to share.
