This is his first novel.
With his penning of “The Crux,” he has written a character who discovers that she is more than what she first appears to be. She is a lot like himself in that she is someone who appears to be unassuming but, when presented with tragedy or adversity, discovers an inner strength within herself. She overcomes her doubts and fears, and she rises to the challenge and she succeeds.
