As a young adult he suffered a traumatic brain injury which resulted in epilepsy, memory loss and other disorders associated with brain damage. In his early fifties he was diagnosed with diffuse scleroderma a rare life threatening illness. Stephen’s testimony is that he is able to endure, persevere and overcome through the power of the Holy Spirit and with the Lord as his Helper.
