I’m one out of eleven children, the middle child, and was raised a Jehovah’s Witness. Since leaving the cult, I have written about my experiences through my book, My Life as a Jehovah Witness: “Used Abused and Forgotten.” I’m a retired law enforcement officer, and a certified suicide prevention officer. I’m also a youth advocate instructor and a certified personal trainer who specializes in adult fitness for older people with chronic conditions. As an author, I have a great sense of humor. It was critical to my recovery from my negative experience in and outside the cult. It has helped me tremendously in being successful and happy.
