Laura is an associate member of The Academy of American Poets of New York, and Poetry Society Of America, New York. She has received The Presidents Award for Literary excellence and Honorable mention from The Iliad Press and The National Author Registry in 2003 for her poem “Convoluted Dream“. She was profiled in the 2004,2005,2006 edition of(Marquis Who’s Who in America, and Marquis Who’s Who in the World) .
