Douglas A. His postdoctoral work was conducted at the University of Minnesota (Hormel Institute) and the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, Texas. His faculty work was conducted in the departments of Physiology and Biophysics and Cell, Developmental and Integrative Biology at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, Alabama. Although he has no formal religious education, he has had a strong personal interest in church life and Bible study for many years.
