Jean-Pierre lived the five years of the Second World War posing as Catholic while hiding with his father, his mother and his two sisters in the French provinces, later in Nice and in Villefranche de Rouergue a small town in central France where he situates most of the action of The Outcasts.
Jean-Pierre left France to study in the United States] at the age of 18 and has lived there more than fifty years after graduating from New York University [NYU].
He is divorced and the father of three boys, all living in the United States.
Jean-Pierre Angel made his career in advertising, finance and Internet Technology.
He wrote poetry before going into fiction.
Jean-Pierre writes in French.
He published a book in 2008: Le Peigne en Écaille, Éditions de l'Archipel, Paris France, sold over 13,000 copies. The book was translated into English. Under the title: The Tortoise Shell Comb published by AuthorHouse in 2015.
